I Moved the family to New Hampshire three weeks ago. I am happy. We celebrated the 4th at Holman Stadium in Nashua and were able to enjoy music and fireworks as close as it gets' in years past we struggled to get a good spot on a hill in Larz Anderson Park to watch the proceedings from about 6 miles away. Today I got my driver's license in under 30 minutes and drove back to the office in another 30. The state may appear crowded judging on southbound traffic during early morning rush hour. Yet it is not, life is pleasant and neighbors were quick to greet us on our first day in town. I lived for 5 years in Newton and was never greeted by neighbors in my building except for some actually returning my good mornings.
I like not paying state income tax yet having great roads to drive on, decent schools, parks, etc. I realize I have only been here for a short while, the scale is my speed. I have no need for throngs of people. Did NYC, now it's my time.
